Dear God, Thanks for the Chance . . .
"Thanks for the chance to have warm PJs. Thanks for the chance to have a friend. Thanks for the chance to be a sister and brother. Thanks for the chance to do it all and call it my home!" (Lyrics by Joe Wise)

Dear Saint Joseph, you took the poor, homeless Christ child into your home. He had left His home in heaven and without hesitation you took Him in.
For many years Jesus was helpless and could not do things for himself. As a carpenter and as a true laborer, you became the very hands of Christ.
Help us to become the hands of Christ for those who are helpless and homeless; They also can not do things for themselves.
Help us to build a home. To build ourselves into a house to serve those whom are under your care and protection - the poor, homeless, helpless, little and small.
We ask this through your intercession and in your son’s Name, Jesus Christ the Lord. Saint Joseph, our patron saint of the homeless, hear our prayer. Amen.
Original Prayer of the Servants of the Father of Mercy, written by Bro. Joseph after a Near-Death-Experience in September 2005.

If you died today . . . Could you pass St. Peter's single test question in order to get into heaven?
Here's his question:
Did you make time in your life to help the poor and suffering?
A "Yes" gets you in. A "No" leaves you out.
"Not everyone who calls me their Lord will get into the kingdom of heaven. For it is not the hearers of the word who are saved, but it is the doers." Matthew 27:21

Pray in your car, pray in the bathroom at work and pray at home as often as you can. Pray a few "Our Father" or a few of our Catholic prayers each time.
Then listen and watch as you pray, after you pray and act on what good you hear in your mind or see happening around you. God will speak more and do more as you take action for charity's sake. Bro. Joseph +
