The Dr. said the chemical stress test she had this afternoon is 99% conclusive that it was not heart disease or blockage that was causing the chest pain and he was ruling out anything that could be life threatening...

We’re home now and Pam is getting some much needed rest. Thank you for all your prayers and being such great support. They are the ones that led me to my ultimate conversion. I have developed such a deep love and appreciation for these our brothers and sisters, role models and teachers. In particular St. Anthony has come through since the darkest days of my father's illness and death. He's not just there to help you find things (although he is WONDERFUL at that), he is there to emulate and inspire and most of all take care of hopeless causes like me. I've grown to love him and think of him as a close friend. I am also very close to St. Francis, St. Therese, St. Rita, St. Bernadette and my beloved St. Vincent de Paul. Without their faith, without their love for the human race and without their sacrifices and intercessions we would be hopeless.Lizzy poohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07992524743791224022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5383127770844178450.post-72455746600172564462008-04-08T13:51:00.000-07:002008-04-08T13:51:00.000-07:00Sister Angela, thank you for your beautiful insigh...Sister Angela, thank you for your beautiful insights in to the prayers and suffering coming to light in the Monday Morning Prayer request Blog. Though how much a person struggle for happiness, yet he /she suffers. We see around us; innovations / techonologies were introduced to "ease" peoples' lives; still suffering comes in its own way. Why? Why is suffering inevitable? Well, this tells me that I don't have to be complacent with this earthly life. I do not need to be attached with what I have or with what I am, for there is something better and best in the next life.

Suffering is deeply woven in the fabric of Christian discipleship. Our dear Lord showed us how to embrace suffering from the time of his birth till his last breath on the cross.

I pray that each of us will accept and carry our own cross with joyfully knowing that beyond calvary is the glorious hope of resurrection.

Sr. AngelaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5383127770844178450.post-48922873776390384462008-04-08T07:24:00.000-07:002008-04-08T07:24:00.000-07:00Glory and Praise to our Loving and Merciful God!
