Dear Saint Joseph, you took the Christ child into your home. For many years he could not do things for himself. As a carpenter and as a true laborer, you became the very hands of Christ. Help us to become the hands of Christ for those who are helpless, those who are homeless; for they can not do things for themselves as well. We build ourselves into a home to serve those who labor through your intercession and in your son’s Name, Jesus Christ the Lord. Saint Joseph, patron saint of the homeless, hear our prayer. Amen.
