THE FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT
For four thousand years – that is from the time of Adam and Eve until the birth of Christ, the world remained in darkness – it was a nighttime of selfishness, violence and sin. “But now," the Apostle John tells us . . . "The Light has come into the world, but still, people love darkness more than light because their deeds are evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds ...will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the light of God.” John 3:18-21 Enjoy the Father of Mercy chapel pics from yesterday, the Fourth Sunday of Advent. The light of Christ has come into the world!
