1 Peter 2:21 Let us pray . . .
"Father, ours were the sufferings your Son bore, ours
the torments he endured. Help us to willingly accept our own lot, suffering in
this life as Jesus accepted His own passion and death. With your help, may we
ever look forward to the resurrection and a new life with Christ in heaven. We
ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ who lives and reigns with you and the
Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen."
