"The Holy
Spirit will come upon you, Mary; you have no need to be afraid. You will carry in your womb the Son of God,
alleluia."
The first
Christmas was all about homelessness, wasn’t it? Jesus left his home in heaven, became a
pilgrim on earth and he was born homeless in a manger to a mother and father
that had no place to stay.

It's amazing how we demonize poverty in America. If the people in our nice pristine churches had really visited that stable they would have turned their noses up at them. Imagine, smelly shepherds, visiting the Savior.
Our ideas about the Holy and Divine are so different than God's.
Blessed are the poor in Spirit. Julia A.
