Hungry, Grumpy, Grateful and Thirsty

It was a hot weekend, 100+ degrees in Los Angeles and nearly the same in Ventura while in the So Cal region meeting more than 1,000 homeless men, women and children parched, dehydrated, immobilized, hungry, grumpy, grateful and thirsty . . .

It was also the 8th anniversary weekend of the official founding Mass of the Servants of the Father of Mercy - we're just like Domino's Pizza, "We Deliver!"  Here are pictures of the team gaining graces to be heaven-bound as they pray, gather and serve the poor.  It's great to see the children involved with their moms and dads too.

Thanks be to God for the new and old team members Carmen Lozano, Brea Lozano, Irma, Noah's Bagels, Brio Bakery, St. Peter's Church, Cipriano, Dilip Patel, Roman Patel, Raj Patel,  Manuel Estrada, Oscar Estrada, Mary Pendergast, Carol Ann Hatten, Yanita and Enrique, Mark Burke, Michael Valencia, Craig Palm and many, many more - enjoy the pictures!
