Poor, Prisoner, Oppressed, Immigrant, Orphan, Hungry & Blind the LORD Comes to Save

And Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed.” Luke 4:18

Psalm 146
Praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD, O my soul…

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,

If we are to regain a hold on the epidemic of homelessness, poverty, widows, orphans and the oppressed, we must go back to the roots. If we begin to treat the root causes AND begin to empower those without dignity and restore their dignity by training them up and bestowing upon them the responsibility of training up our nations fatherless, then we will see the tides begin to turn. This will only happen when we (the people) humble ourselves and accept our own poverty in our hearts and begin to love with acceptance and servitude. Giving back all that we have been given. Belive me when I say that giving everything will only serve to gain us everything!
