We interrupt this program for an URGENT holiday message:

"You can be a good person without Christ, but you will be a better person with Christ."

"You can take Jesus out of Christmas but you cannot take Christmas out of Jesus."

This year, remember to keep CHRIST in Christmas!

10 Tips for keeping Christ in Christmas!

1.  Read the Christmas story, Luke chapters 1 - 3.

2.  Share the Christmas story with children.

3.  Place a manger under the Christmas tree.

4.  Put a manger scene in the front yard.

5.  Feed and clothe the homeless.

6.  Visit a hospital or nursing home.

7.  Go to church on Christmas.

8.  Forgive an enemy.

9.  Volunteer at a rescue mission.

10. Pray this simple prayer . . . "Jesus, please come into my heart if you are really real."  He will!

At Christmastime the Peace is in the Poverty!

We just arrived back a little bit ago from the desert cities and now remember the many homeless women, children and men over the weekend that received backpacks, blankets, clothing, food, water, rosaries, Christmas toys and more.

Yesterday, we served Javier and Michael again. Both of these men had been shot in the head late at night near the Palm Springs International Airport in separate incidents over the summer and fall months by gang members that left them for dead. It's a blessing to give them both some hugs and support in their struggle to live.

A new homeless guy, just meeting him today for the first time in Palm Desert cried and cried with the surprise of gifts and help showing up on the mountainside as we drove off-road to find him. Another lady was collapsed on the ground in the heat of day in a field but intercepted by a policeman. We joined up with the police and assisted her with water, nourishment and clothing.

Well, these are just a few of many stories in just a short weekend of serving the homeless. Thank you for all your compassion, kindness and donation and BIG heart to help these poor souls.

Blessings and prayers for St. Jude the Apostle Church, Dr. and Jackie Treuting, Steve Yantzer, Bill Yantzer and pastor, Fr. Jim Stehly for all their Holiday gifts for the poor homeless as well as their love and support. Also, blessings to our spiritual director Fr. John Neiman and team support of Corpus Christi Church, Monsignor Kidney, St. Julie Billiart Church and Fr. Paul J. Hruby. May God bless our "desert storm" team, the brothers Manuel Estrada and Oscar Estrada and Orange County team, Mark Burke, Michael Valencia and Craig Palm.

Please make a prayer and a donation for these poor homeless souls we deliver to on the streets, 80,000 + in Southern California and beyond at http://servantsofthefather.org/donate_2_homeless

May the peace of His barn-born poverty be yours this Christmastime and throughout the New Year!

God Revealed!

TODAY, GOD REVEALS HIMSELF!

Lord Jesus, born homeless among animals in barn, you appeared unknown and unseen among us, yet you reveal yourself to women and men of humble hearts in the distressing disguise of the poor, show us your face this Advent and Christmas season . . .

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Israel shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King. He is just, and having salvation. Yet, behold! He is lowly, and riding upon an ass."  Zechariah 9:9

GOD HAS SPOKEN TO HIS PEOPLE, ALLELUIA!

The poor homeless scurried for shelter from the afternoon's wind storm, bitter cold and driving rain!

Dearest Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

Just a short note to let you know that the November, December and January Holidays coming up have seen the addition of many new outreaches to the homeless by our "Servants" - Gifting now along with food and water, ladies' purses packed with hygiene supplies, backpacks filled with men's toiletries, blankets, jackets, rosaries and much more to 80,000 + homeless in the region.

We recently added monthly truck deliveries to homeless living under bridges, in alleyways and behind dumpsters in 10 cities: Anaheim, Oxnard, Ventura, Santa Paula, Los Angeles, Cathedral City, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, Palm Springs and Indio, California.

Please pray for my new book, "Proof of the Afterlife 2" which is with the editor now, Rick Cotterman and the cover is in progress with the graphic artist at Exodus Design, Kristine Cotterman. God, willing it will be in bookstores soon.

In "Proof of the Afterlife 2", you can look forward to 400 pages packed with true stories of God's peace, grace and mercy coming to build hope in us direct from the afterlife. Visions, God-encounters and revelations that continue on to this very day after having been dead for 30 minutes of a heart arrhythmia the night of September 26, 2005. The first book was a wide-selling publishing success having had more than 10,000 readers while sharing my testimony on television and radio shows coast-to-coast.

There will be a book launch at Barnes and Noble in Ventura, CA as well after the first of the year.

You all are invited as our special guests to Servants of the Father of Mercy "10th Annual Jesus' Birthday Party", Friday, December 30th, 6pm to 9pm - free for our families, friends and guests. RSVP Invitation attached.

Prayers and blessings! + Bro. Gary Joseph
Founder/President

Tim Tebow: Christian All-Star Athlete Speaks out on "Fox & Friends" about being Homeless, Hated, Betrayed, Broken, Despised, Rejected, Ejected and Forsaken - God's Poor Little Way!

GOD'S POOR LITTLE WAY!

Tim Tebow: Christian All-Star Athlete Speaks out on "Fox & Friends" about being Homeless, Hated, Betrayed, Broken, Despised, Rejected, Ejected and Forsaken - God's Poor Little Way . . .

Former NFL first-round draft pick turned pro baseball prospect Tim Tebow is a devout Christian.  Patriot's coach, Belichick, who cut him after he completed 36.7 percent of his passes during the Patriots’ 2013 preseason.

Today, “Fox & Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt to Tebow: “Some people say that your faith is a distraction and maybe that’s why you have not landed with a team for a long time, and I applaud you for that, because you’re putting your faith above the sport, and I think that’s awesome,”

“It’s difficult because the cut also cuts into your pride, it cuts into your goals, it cuts into your dreams, and when all of that feels like it’s shaken, how do you react? How do you handle it? And, for me, I felt like, ‘Hey, going to the Patriots was gonna be a dream come true.’ Play under Tom Brady, and then when he retires, we’ll go play for Belichick and win a bunch of Super Bowls, and that was my goal. That’s what I thought was gonna happen, and then you get cut and it’s like, ‘Hey, what do I do next?’

“I remember before flying to Jacksonville and sitting on the edge of the bed in a hotel room thinking, ‘OK, I have no house, no car, no one wants me to do what I want to do, what do I do next?’ And at moments like that, that’s when you really find out what your identity is all about and what defines you.

“That’s really hard, especially when you feel like you’ve worked so hard to get to a point and then this was it, this was going to be the opportunity, this was going to be the dream come true, and it gets shattered right in front of you. That is very difficult.”

IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR WHEN THE POVERTY, PEACE AND JOY OF HOMELESSNESS SHINES!

LETTING OUR HOMELESSNESS SHINE FROM THE MANGER TO THE GRAVE!

Servants of the Father of Mercy is the only charity that can boast our founders and patrons, Jesus, Mary and Joseph lived and immersed their lives in homelessness:

1.  Jesus, born homeless in a manger, not a Sheraton.
2.  Mary, Jesus and Joseph, homeless refugees in Egypt's desert, not the Caribbean Islands.
3.  Jesus and the disciples lived homeless with one coat and one set of sandals, not at the Macy's Mall.
4.  Jesus, died homeless in a borrowed tomb, not Forest Lawn.
5.  Jesus, descended into homeless hell, not to Heaven his eternal home.

Join up with the crazy life of homelessness and get to know the other side of Jesus, His poor little way.  There's lot to do this Holiday Season, but you must call now before time and destiny passes you by.  Say "I would like to help somehow with my time, talent or treasure!"  Call Bro. Joseph at (310) 595-4175.  I will pray for you that you will make room for Him in the inn of your hearts.
