Ramon lives homeless all alone in an empty alleyway in downtown Los Angeles. He said he waits for us to visit him the last Saturday of the month. He is in our hearts and prayers.

Prayers for Cody Gibbs as well as for his dad Ricki Gibbs who passed away at 7:15 this morning after a four-year battle with neck and throat cancer at a hospice care facility in Oxnard, CA. 

There will be a memorial service facilitated by the Catholic Church, Servants of the Father of Mercy.  You may wish to attend next week at Reardon, 757 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93001. Time and date TBA.

Also, Reardon has requested that the Church provide a donation collection in lieu of customary costs.  Please donate and 100% will go to Ricki's arrangements.

Gave our dear homeless brother Ricki last rites yesterday as cancer and stroke has left him at about 75 pounds. He is in a hospice nursing facility. Ricki was at peace to receive the anointing of oil and blessings of water 💦 in Christ! David Gonzalez from Santa Paula also was there to pray with Ricki.

"Mark my word", the Apostle Paul said: "In the last days there will be terrible times ahead. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, violent, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, irreconcilable, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of Christianity but denying its power."  2 Timothy 3:1-5

CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST? WHAT WILL IT BE LIKE TO WITNESS CHRIST'S RETURN?

Well, to be exact, it will be just like celebrating Christmas! 

Everybody loves Christmas, right?  

When Jesus came the first time, we called it Christmas Day.  

Now when he returns the second time, we will call that monumental event Christmas Day too.

So get ready folks, "It's Christmas time in the city. Soon it will be Christmas Day!"
