Did you ever wonder what places like Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts and Einstein Bagels do with their treats at the end of the day? Company policy is for employees to throw them out. That's where they go, directly into the trash, sometimes as many as 100s of items in a day. Rather than risk a restaurant law suit, they are NOT donated to the homeless, the Rescue Mission or Food Share. Employees may take some home in a brown bag.
