Look closely, Jesus can be seen in the faces of the homeless!





That is because the Bible tells us, "Jesus emptied himself and became human." (Philippians 2:7)  At the moment of his birth, Jesus became a poor homeless drifter, begging for his every need. We can see Jesus in two places.  He is present in the crushed and broken grapes and grains of the Eucharist as well as the crushed and broken peoples living on our city streets.
