Monday Morning Prayer Request Blog IV

Be merciful to me, O Lord; for I cry to You daily. Psalm 86:3

Welcome in! Our Monday Morning Prayer Request Blog is dedicated to pray for those dear to the heart of Jesus - the homeless, the poor, the abandoned, the crushed and forgotten. Also, we pray for all the "poor, suffering and homeless" in our lives.

Who do you know that is crushed, broken, lost, abandoned or hurting? Come, post as many prayer requests as you wish for yourself or others - first names or initials only. Your prayer requests will be printed and presented each day this week at one hour Adoration for the Lord‘s consideration, great mercy and compassion.

Pass it on! Let your family and friends know that even though we are often too busy for much prayer, take a minute here to post prayers; someone will daily pray for each and every request. Please return next Monday or any time this week and post new prayer requests.

Here is how to post a prayer request:
1. Click on COMMENT at the bottom of this post.
2. Click the circle Anonymous at the bottom of the page.
3. Type your prayer request in the box at the top of the page.
4. Use your first name or initials at the end of what you wrote.
5. Visually check your spelling (no spell check)
6. Fill in the wavy letters in the security box.
7. Click on publish and send it heaven’s door.
8. Have faith - about the size of a grain of a mustard seed.

Return tomorrow for the Tuesday Morning Praise Blog! Give thanks to God for His mercy and compassion and for answering prayers for all the "poor" in our lives!

At one of the talks that Father Corapi gave that I attended, I spoke with him after the talk and he asked that we pass along this message from him:

“I have been quite ill for over six months and the local physicians can't solve the riddle. In addition, for the first time in 20 years I am not traveling at all in 2008.
Please pray that God's will be done in my current situation.”

God bless you,
Fr. John Corapi

Please pray for Pepper. He is a young man that has been living under the bridges for many years. He has not been seen for many months, but immerged on Saturday. Pray for his soul to be at peace in God.

I had a feeling that Fr. Corapi was ill since he wasn't travelling and also because I've seen him on his website's "Weekly Wisdom", not looking that healthy. He is one of the people I've admired from his preachings. I will pray for Fr. Corapi and pray that God will take care of him.

I also pray for all of the homeless people in Los Angeles, and indeed, the world. I pray to God that He gives us the grace of compassion and love to always see the poor and needy among us and to give a word of acknowledgement, to say "hello" if we cannot give money to help out. I need to at least try to think of and care for others besides my own family and friends.

She is awaiting very anxiously to get accepted into a BFA program for college and I worry that she will fall into a deep depression again should she fail at her attempts.

I like to pray for the B family who is undergoing a terrible trial within their family. Please heal them and please give them the gifts of heavenly hope and faith. In particular please place Jen at the altar with Jesus so that she will realize her own responsibility for her family in spite of the abuse, in spite of total lack of human esteem. Place in her heart the fullness of faith and dignity of life for herself and her children.

Josie, our daughter-in-law, was in a Taxi-cab accident on
her way to school. She is in critical condition with pneumonia;
was 3 months pregnant and lost the baby. She is only 30 yrs.
old. Please please pray for her. Pray that she is able to pull
through this; her health has always been fragile. Please
please pray for Georgie, our son.

Father please help Josie to heal. Please give Georgie strength
that can only come from You as he prays in his heart to You
for Josie. It is only to You that we turn, that we come on our
knees, asking, seeking, knocking, pleading for her life in the
name of Your Beloved Son, Jesus, Our Lord. Mother Mary
please pray for the mercy of Jesus, upon her and upon
Georgie. Mother Mary be with them. St. Joseph be with them.
Sacred Heart of Jesus we place all our trust in You. Amen.

Emily is the daughter of a friend of mine. She is currently in need of your prayers. For over 6 1/2 yrs now, Emily has battled Leukemia. Since she was 12 yrs old, she has been through the ringer with treatments, chemo several times, bone marrow transplant etc... now she has had a relapse and is in a major crisis. She is at St Jude Hospital in Memphis on a ventilator. She is such a beautiful young lady who is extremely smart. She had her senior year to look forward to, graduation and was accepted to Duke University in the fall. A young lady with everything to look forward to. Please pray for a miracle for Emily. Everyone and the doctors are doing everything they can for her. It is up to God now.

Dear Lord,
Come to Emily's aid now. You are the Divine Healer and nothing is impossible for You. We ask you for a cure for Emily so she can get well. Please be with her in this great need right now. Give her the faith and comfort to know you are close to her. Please Lord hear our prayers for her recovery .We know that You are faithful and love your children. We submit this to Your will in the name of Jesus Your son. Amen.

Please pray for a dear priest - Fr. John Randall. He fell Sunday and shattered his shoulder and has had surgery. He is the most dedicated-retired priest, but keeps giving and giving and giving! Fr. Randall is a very holy priest from Providence RI. He is FILLED with the Holy Spirit and it shines through him like no one I know. Thanks, Sue from Rhode Island
