Tuesday Morning Thanksgiving and Praise Blog V

Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:6

Welcome in! Our Tuesday Morning Thanksgiving & Praise Blog is dedicated to give thanks and praise to the Lord for all the mighty works he is doing for all of us who are praying for the “poor”, abandoned and crushed in our lives - including ourselves. Peruse yesterday's Monday Morning Prayer Request Blog and one can get a strong sense of the needs out there. No doubt, God is moving and hearing our prayers!

What has God been doing in your life this past week, month, day, year and in this past minute? What prayers has he answered? What is Jesus doing in your life? How can we ever say “thank you” enough? Post a “thank you” blog to the Lord that gets mailed direct to heaven’s door. Whatever you write will be printed and presented each day at one hour Adoration for the rest of the week!

Pass it on! Let others know that even though we are often too busy, we’re never to busy to say “thank you” for all he has done for us. Come back next Tuesday or any time in the week to post new prayers of thanksgiving and praise. Return Monday or any day and post your intentions at Monday Morning Prayer Request Blog.

Here is how to post thanksgiving and praise:
1. Click on COMMENT at the bottom of this post.
2. Click the circle Anonymous at the bottom of the page.
3. Type your thanksgiving and praise in the box at the top.
4. Use your first name or initials at the end of what you wrote.
5. Visually check your spelling (no spell check)
6. Fill in the wavy letters in the security box.
7. Click on publish and send it to heaven’s door.
8. Giving thanksgiving and praise is the sign of a humble heart!

Reading those [prayer request] blogs reminds me that suffering is a reality, and has to be given special attention. Though how much a person struggle for happiness, yet he /she suffers. We see around us; innovations / techonologies were introduced to "ease" peoples' lives; still suffering comes in its own way. Why? Why is suffering inevitable? Well, this tells me that I don't have to be complacent with this earthly life. I do not need to be attached with what I have or with what I am, for there is something better and best in the next life.

Suffering is deeply woven in the fabric of Christian discipleship. Our dear Lord showed us how to embrace suffering from the time of his birth till his last breath on the cross.

I pray that each of us will accept and carry our own cross with joyfully knowing that beyond calvary is the glorious hope of resurrection.

I just went to the homeless blog and I think readership is expanding... Seem to have a much broader readership and their prayers are beautiful. I am printing these [prayers] out and taking them to perpertual adoration on Wednesday night.

I just want to give heartfelt thanks to the communion of saints. They are the ones that led me to my ultimate conversion. I have developed such a deep love and appreciation for these our brothers and sisters, role models and teachers. In particular St. Anthony has come through since the darkest days of my father's illness and death. He's not just there to help you find things (although he is WONDERFUL at that), he is there to emulate and inspire and most of all take care of hopeless causes like me. I've grown to love him and think of him as a close friend. I am also very close to St. Francis, St. Therese, St. Rita, St. Bernadette and my beloved St. Vincent de Paul. Without their faith, without their love for the human race and without their sacrifices and intercessions we would be hopeless.

Hello everyone, all of Pam’s test were negative, thank God! The Dr. said the chemical stress test she had this afternoon is 99% conclusive that it was not heart disease or blockage that was causing the chest pain and he was ruling out anything that could be life threatening...

We’re home now and Pam is getting some much needed rest. Thank you for all your prayers and being such great support. Peace, Joel
